Darren Arney Darren graduated from Roseworthy and started working life as an agronomist. He then gained financial experience with the National Bank as an Agribusiness Manager before moving into grain marketing consulting and education. He started up his own business in 2006 focusing on grain marketing training and risk management. Peter Botta Peter is regarded as an authority on grain storage in Australia. He specialises in the practical issues associated with grain storage, including the risks associated with storing grain for both on farm use and the domestic and export market. Peter is also conversant in the risks, hazards, markets and costs associated with storing grain both on farm and in various commercial facilities. Tony Catt Tony is an experienced Financial Advisor with Ord Minnett Ltd and delivers financial and business planning workshops. Students benefit from his appropriate academic qualifications, which include a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Accounting, a Graduate Diploma in Finance & Investment, and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Brett Crabtree Brett is an experienced Financial Advisor with Financial Advisory Services and delivers financial and business planning workshops. Students benefit from his practical solutions, and his farming background. Maggie Dowling Highly motivated, proactive and multi-faceted Maggie is an experienced Company Director. Maggie has solid business acumen and analytical skill and is currently the General Manager of the Contamination Assessment and Remediation of the Environment Cooperative Research Centre. David Harris David is a principal of AgriPartners an owner-operated agribusiness consulting practice that was established in 2001. David is an agricultural business professional whose career experience has progressed from hands-on farm management to research, extension, re-selling operations, rural banking, processing, packaging, logistics and marketing. San Jolly San is the principal consultant of Productive Nutrition. San is passionate about improving livestock production sustainably and using best practice methods that are practical, achievable and that are cost efficient. San is currently completing her Masters degree in Ruminant Nutrition ‘Improving the productivity of sheep grazing on immature pastures’ to complement her Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture). Paul Lainio Paul is a Senior Meteorologist, in the Media and Community Relations department with the Commonwealth Bureau of Meteorology. Paul is conversant is all facets of the weather, climate and its forecasting. Paul has been associated with the development and education of better facilities for forecasting weather and is passionate about our climate and its affect on our livelihoods. Chris Tuckwell Chris is the Managing Director of Rural Industry Developments Pty Ltd, a company that specialises in agricultural development and marketing consulting. Chris is a skilled IT deliverer, particularly focussing on managing information related to the primary production business. |
